Chapter Thirty-Two………

Every day to be alive and breathing is a blessing. Every year to celebrate “Latoya” is an even bigger blessing. If there is a such thing.

Every year I look back on myself, I’m so grateful. The lessons God has taking me through were all for a reason, and the testimony I have is nothing short of amazing. I’m grateful for my sons, my parents, my siblings, the community of people who come together to encourage, inspire, and lift me higher. I’m continuously working on “me”, bettering “me”, and making sure the next path I take will only be for the greater good of one’s self. I’ve learned to never doubt myself, to heed any intuition that I feel and take each day one step at a time. May this year be my best year yet!

Thank you, God, for giving me another year of life.

By sending cards, and letters, gifts and good wishes.

Thank you for all the experience of the past year;

For times of success which will always be happy memories

For times of failure which reminded me of my own weakness and my need for you,

For times of joy when the sun was shining

For times of sadness which drove me to you.
