Looking Back Before Leaping Forward

Every year begins a new chapter in your life. I’ve always felt as though a new year is a chance to make changes, I don’t believe you start anew as others would say. After all, those previous years don’t just go away!

“2018” was a strange year for me. I learned so much about myself, I went through some major life experiences, and struggled through probably the hardest breakup of my life! This past year also proved to be my year of strength. I proved to be unbreakable, indestructible and enduring. I learned to count on me. To go it alone, to be my own cheerleader, to pat myself on the back for a job well done, and to love myself more than any one person on this planet could.

I could say GOD used 2018 to “break me”. This past year broke me down to the smallest minuscule piece of myself only to allow me to bear witness to the great likeness that “I” could reassemble myself even better than I was before.

I never gave up on myself. I definitely allowed others perceptions to dwindle my light. Those individuals ruled my life, and ultimately my happiness. Walking into 2019 I feel enlightened, refined and destined!

There are far better things ahead than any I left behind……and to that I say THANK YOU-NEXT!!!!
