CALL ME A GOAL DIGGER

HEY Talkers!

I’ve been trying to catch up with all of my socials as well as uploading to my YouTube channel. I never knew how much work this was! I definitely don’t have as much free time as I use to have while not working, but to add to that your girl is back in the books. With my certification test date around the corner I have no free time left for much else.

It’s so tiresome, sometimes it can be frustrating but I know the end result will be nothing short of exceptional. I’m definitely in my zone, call me self centered, call me egocentric but the true term to describe me would be a goal digger! For so long I’ve played the part, I’ve followed people down the most unnecessary paths, that have taking me off the road I’ve always envisioned myself upon. I’m so focused, so dedicated to me, I see the end result and I can’t stop running towards it. I wonder why it’s taking me so long?

Love blinds you, as women we can lose sight of ourselves while in a relationship, add children and we sink like the titanic. I’m so proud of every step I’ve taking towards my dreams, those visions I saw for myself weren’t just illusions. I know with certainty it was my reality, just waiting for me to put forth the effort!

I say all of this to say, don’t lose sight of your dreams, work hard to achieve your goals. Don’t get so preoccupied in love that you succumb to being complacent. You’ll find yourself in a really dark space watching everyone around you accomplish their goals, posting their happy endings, dream jobs, dream homes, dream cars & perfect families. Knowing that you stopped at the check point, and never finished your own journey to your happily ever after.
