Casual Saturday Slay

Saturday has to be my most favorite day of the week. It’s the first day of the weekend, the day I get to sleep in late…well later than 6a.m.. It’s also the day I get to enjoy a full day with my family. I’ve always been an extremely family oriented person. I enjoy nothing more than spending a day catching up with my family, talking about some of our favorite shows and eating some of the best southern comfort food. On days such as these you can find me in a casual OOTD such as this. My favorite article of clothing is a dress. It’s ironic for me to say that because I recall at the tender age of 7 I hated wearing dresses. I remember very vividly my mom draping me in a dress, while also placing my hair in the most obnoxious Shirley Temple curls… ugh I despised it so much. So, to have a new-found love for dresses and anything that’s really girly is so different from the girl I use to be. Today I decided to pair this Forever21 dress with some caged open toe heels also from Forever21. I like to call it casually slaying!
