10 Things You Don’t Know About Me

Happy Thursday!!!!
The end of the week is quickly approaching. Quickly that is if you reside in Louisiana and you received Monday & Tuesday off to observe the Mardi Gras holiday! Lucky me…I know.
I’m still quite new to the blogging word, and have received a few emails inquiring about me. So today I’m covering a few tidbits about myself that you probably don’t know.
  1. I love to dance. A little hip hop, some pop & line dancing possibly some twerking 💁🏽‍♀️
  2. I’m the 4th of 5 siblings. I’m kinda still the baby In a sense.
  3. I wore braces for 8 years. Crooked smile even braces couldn’t straighten. You have no idea how excited I was to run my tongue across my teeth again!
  4. I have two children. Both boys, one who is Autistic. 😊 #momgoals
  5. I hate Geometry. Right triangles, squares, diameters and hypotenuse…someone please call a tutor🤦🏽‍♀️
  6. I take a picture of myself everyday. For memories of course.
  7. I brought my first car at 17.  #girlboss
  8. I love to journal it helps with self-reflection
  9. I value time. Time is the one of the few things we can’t get back. Therefore when it comes to my time I use it wisely, and I suggest you do the same.
  10. Paris is on my bucket list. It’s a must see for me in 2018!!!

Bonus:  One day I will own an Educational Center dedicated to promoting self-help, education, and instructional activities to children with special needs.

Hopefully now you know a few tidbits about me, some of the my likes, dislikes and future goals. There’s still so many variations of Latoya. Who I am today is not a guaranteed reflection of who I will be tomorrow. I am happy with the woman I have grown to be and I hope you continue to follow me on my journey.

Here are a few photos of my family and I.

I’m 30 years old. I have loved writing since I was 12 years old. Writing poetry was my favorite pastime that eventually turned into me drafting a short story that I never showed anyone by the way. I started Latoyatalks as a way to begin my blogging journey. I’ve always wanted to write about my personal experiences, and to give advice to others surrounding education and beauty. These are all topics I enjoy and feel connected to. In the future I hope to grow latoyatalks to a website where people can come to find awesome advice, read some compelling stories about my life experiences that hopefully they take something from. Also to help families understand different techniques to educate and care for their family. While also touching base on my favorite beauty and fashion trends! - Latoya
