September 13th was officially OTR II day. Better known as BEE-DAY! I’ve been waiting for this day since April pre-sale ticket day! As you know I’ve had so much going on recently. Between working full time, day to day of being a single mom to two rambunctious always into, hurting, scratching, breaking, sick, arguing, whatever something you name it boys. There is just no time for me. To digest and be Latoya outside of the other hats I take on, on a daily basis. Non-the less I was looking forward to this one day to myself.
The day started pretty much how every other day begins. I made breakfast and sent the boys off to school. Then It was time for preparation of my evening. My first half of the day I spent getting a mani-pedi at my favorite spa. I hadn’t been to this spa since April! I missed seeing Tina and getting my foot and hand massage as she completed my spa experience! After getting my nails done which seem to take much longer then it normally would, I went on the hunt for the infamous clear heels. If you’ve watched my vlog from last week titled (Car Vlog | OTR II Countdown…) you would know I was undecided if I wanted to wear these are not due to the complaints many women have upon wearing them. Any who, off to my favorite store where I did find the heels. Just so happen to be the last pair in my size! Score!!!! On the way home, I grabbed lunch from Chipotle my go to for lunch. My meal of choice is always a Sofrito bowl with double rice white/brown, double veggies and loads of medium salsa! I headed home to take a shower and attempt to get a few zzz’ss prior to getting dressed. I decided to go neutral on the face for the concert. Simply because it’s less time consuming 😊. As for my outfit, I brought so many different outfits for the show I didn’t know what I wanted to wear! After looking at the forecast and noticing that there was a slight chance of rain I ended up playing it safe and wearing a cute crop top and jeans with my new clear heels.
The concert was phenomenal! Jay-Z actually had a good set. Much better than the previous OTR show. Do we even have to question if Beyonce` was good? We should all know by now that BEY always shows up and shows out! By the way you couldn’t tell me I wasn’t a background dancer. I was on my feet 98.7% of the entire show slaying routine after routine! If you still have to ask…..Yes I GOT MY ENTIRE LIFE”!
I knew this day would not let me down. While it didn’t go without a hitch. We were seated by a few overly intoxicated patrons who caused an entire ruckus and had to be escorted out. I still enjoyed the show never the less.
I started the day wanting to vlog, I even was able to capture a few clips from my morning. Just not enough for a complete video. Just take my word for it. The entire day was Lit! If they have another concert maybe a OTR III. Do not hesitate to go. Save some coins and get a good seat! I definitely want to experience being on the floor. So, I’m saving for that day! Other than that, please enjoy some of the clips of me and my family at the concert.
P.S. Those clear heels are the DEVIL! I should’ve listened. Signed my feet hurt like hell, they burned my ankle, and I’ll only wear them again too look cute for 5 minutes
