Latoya Talks: GRWM Work Edition Casual Friday

I love Fridays! While I still have to be at the workplace…sigh I do get to enjoy a casual dress down Friday!!!

I’ve definitely put-on a few pounds the last few weeks, so my jeans all fit like compression pants. To stay on the more comfortable side I decided to wear a pencil skirt today.

Let’s get into Fashion:

Can you name the most popular fashion site for women out today?

If you said Fashion nova you would be correct. Every woman frequents fashion nova at least once a week. After all they upload new items every day and they sell out just as quick. Something that Fashion nova and the store I frequent a lot lately have in common is that they sale the same items. But my store sells the items for much less than fashion nova.

Are you ready to hear the store I’m referring to?…….. Rainbow!!!!!!

I’ve always loved rainbow, although at times I hear some not so great things about the store I still shop there…and often.

The top I choose to where is from Rainbow I only paid maybe $9.00 for it. Score right!

My pencil skirt is from my next favorite store Forever 21 and it was only $.7.89!

I paired my outfit with some denim sandals to make the outfit more casual.

Onto Beauty:

I’m still on the No Makeup-Makeup look. You will not see a glam Latoya for work unless it’s a special occasion. This look took maybe 10-15 minutes tops.

I used Benefit Ka-brow gel to shape my brows and continued to fill them in with Milani’s brow fit kit in the shade 03 Dark.

I lightly concealed with Sephora’s Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer.

I then applied Maybelline The Falsies mascara, and highlighted with Maybelline’s Master Chrome in the shade Molten Gold. I finished the look with my favorite Matte Lipstick from Kylie Cosmetics in the shade Dolce K. and set my face with Pearlessence’s Rose Water.

I hope you enjoy my getting ready with me work edition.

I’m 31 years old. I have loved writing since I was 12 years old. Writing poetry was my favorite pastime that eventually turned into me drafting a short story that I never showed anyone by the way. I started Latoyatalks as a way to begin my blogging journey. I’ve always wanted to write about my personal experiences, and to give advice to others surrounding education and beauty. These are all topics I enjoy and feel connected to. In the future I hope to grow latoyatalks to a website where people can come to find awesome advice, read some compelling stories about my life experiences that hopefully they take something from. Also to help families understand different techniques to educate and care for their family. While also touching base on my favorite beauty and fashion trends! I'm now on Youtube follow my journey there as well! - Latoya
