EVERYDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE 2021

I posted a new everyday makeup routine on my Youtube channel today, but I also wanted to share here as well. Thank you for all of the love on my Facebook posts I so appreciate it.

A lot of this can be found HERE in my most recent makeup routine blog post for 2020. I go into a lot more detail there so make sure you read it too! Also, I will be posting my Updated Skincare Routine later this month and it has a lot of details of how I’ve been able to improve my skin the past year.

#1. PRIMER || The very first thing I use is this Milk Hydro Grip Primer. It is amazing!! It is especially good for dry skin!! After that, I use the HourGlass Veil Mineral Primer this has been a favorite for a while now, it really helps to fill in your pores if they large!

*SIDE NOTE: I have been using these HAIR CLIPS to keep my hair out of the way for makeup application! They are both practical, and inexpensive, but most importantly they don’t leave a crease!

#2 . FOUNDATION || One of my favorite foundations of all time is the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation I  currently use [shade 385]. I have been using this foundation a lot over the past year and have loved it. It’s one I reach for when I want a light skin like coverage. I definitely recommend for you to try it out you wont be disappointed.

#3. EYESHADOW || I really have not changed much here!!!. I absolutely love  THIS palette [THE WARRIOR BY JUVIA’S PLACE]. This is one of my all time favorite neutral palettes that I reach for. Mostly because it has a combination of matte and glitter shades. When using this palette you won’t have to reach for anything else. I get MANY compliments when I wear the shade [BAKWA] on my lids. I didn’t use that shade in this makeup look, but take my word for it, it’s GORGEOUS. Side note, I mostly used Morphe Brushes to complete this and all of my makeup looks. The brushes are really good quality and affordable.

#4. UNDEREYE AREA || I use THIS concealer in shade 385 to quickly brighten the semi- dark circles under my eyes. It is a newer concealer I’ve been using, and although it is the same shade as my foundation it helps to further conceal and even out the area under the eyes.

Here is the beauty sponge  I keep talking about, it is my favorite! Sonia Kashuk Makeup Sponge.

Next I set the under eye area with THIS SETTING POWDER. I apply the powder with that same beauty sponge and later just sweep it off with a small powder brush!

#5. CONTOUR || I used the Morphe Highlight & Contour Palette [SHADE 8H] contour my cheeks, nose, & forehead. [Using THIS brush to blend the contour.] Although the palette I use is discontinued, I believe the palette I linked is very close.

#6. SETTING POWDER || I set my foundation with the Sephora Collection MicroSmooth Baked Powder in the shade tan. Again, I just use my beauty sponge to apply this powder – I let it set for a minute and sweep it off w/a fluffy powder brush! I really like Real Techniques Instapop Face Brush for this!

#7. HIGHLIGHTER || Still obsessed with ELF 24K Gold Highlighter! I use it on my cheeks, nose, & cupids bow. Always spray my brush with Too Face Hangover Setting Spray before dipping into the highlighter though! I also use this around my eyes as a brow bone and inner eye pop!] The brush I use for highlighter is HERE – in the same Morphe Brush set I mentioned above.

#8. BROWS || I use Benefit Goof Proof in the shade 4.5 to fill in my brows. I’ve been using this pencil for the past year. I recently changed to a lighter shade for a more natural look.

#9. EYES || For the eyes I used the MILK KUSH MASCARA, I decided to skip the liner since this is more an everyday look. I accentuated my eyes with the Ardell Demi-Wispy Lashes, which is just so happens to be another old school holy grail of mine. If you have not had the opportunity to use them yet, click the link and try them out. You won’t be disappointed .

#10. SETTING SPRAY || I always use a setting spray [or 3] ALWAYS! I love Too Face Hangover Setting Spray of course – I use it as I am getting ready for products but I also use Morphe’s Setting Spray – it is what I go through the fastest. I sometimes use a fan…or eyeshadow palette [I know i’m not the only one] to help it to dry.

#11. LIP || Okay here is the new lip combo you all have seen me using as of late!! NYX Slim Lip Pencil in [Shade Brown]+ Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb– which is SOO FIRE might I add in the [Shade: Clear].
